This service provides an online enquiry service for non-residents.

When to use this service

Use this service if you are a non-resident and wish to send us an online enquiry.

We have strict rules about protecting your personal information. If your request is for personal information or for an adjustment to personal or account details, you'll need to register for our Secure mail service.

What you will need

Your IRD number - if you don't have your IRD number, contact us by calling:

  • 0800 227 774 if you're within New Zealand, or
  • +64 4 978 0779 if you're overseas.
After you finish

Once your request has been submitted it will be processed within 15 working days.

If you wish to keep a copy for your own records, print the confirmation page.

This service may require you to send confidential information to Inland Revenue so it is located on a secure part of our website to prevent unauthorised interception. If you are unable to access this service, your browser and/or firewall settings may need updating.
