Make a payment

Checking your payment details online

You can check payments have been credited to your account online or through our self-service line.

If you don't have a payment slip or you want to check your payment has been credited to your account, you can:

  • Login to myIR
  • call our self-service line on 0800 257 777 to request a statement with a payment slip attached. This can take up to 10 days to receive.

If you can't get a payment slip in time, include the following details with your payment:

  • your name and address
  • your IRD number
  • the type of account you're paying
  • the period or year the payment is for
  • the amount.

If you have a tax agent we'll send your payment slip to them
