This page explains the different access types and levels for GST in myIR.
Account owners have full access to myIR. They're legally responsible for how "Managing account access" is used by their staff. A report is available to account owners only, detailing all GST activity completed by all logons.
Account administrators can have the same access as the account owner, at the account owner's discretion. They can manage GST to the access level the owner has authorised, as well as grant others access to the account. Account administrators can get an activity report for the GST accounts for which they have access.
Account users have limited access granted by an account owner or account administrator. They can access GST account information and perform any actions you select for them in "Access level".
There are four access levels you can grant an account administrator or user.
View GST only
With the "View GST only" access level, you have access to GST account information including:

The "File GST" access level also lets someone file GST returns.
The "File and pay GST" access level also lets someone file GST returns and arrange payment of GST owing. They can update bank accounts for refunds and direct debits, and confirm dates for direct debits.
The "Pay GST" access level also lets someone arrange payment of GST owing. They can update bank accounts for refunds and direct debits, and confirm dates for direct debits.
